contemporary form

Melanie,

Could you tell me a little about the contemporary form of Haiku? I notice does not appear quite as rigid in structure as traditional.

I have enjoyed these little "paintings." I agree with the earlier post: your desire describes your work--painting.

Excellent

Ebony Rose, Blue Heron, and Trumpet Vine are my favorites! I agree your desire is a description of your work: painting with words.

Melanie, in your author bio, you said you like the idea of painting with words. I think this painterly approach to writing shows in your work.

My favorite in this series is "Trumpet Vine" -- wonderful.
