Brilliant workNEW by: The Official Critic of the World
I have loved poetry since the age of nine or ten, and some of my favorites include The Tyger and The Lamb by William Blake and Dirge Without Music by Edna St. Vincent Millay. People, poetry might be in decline!
These beautiful, haiku are simple, and have a sense of place. If we can get ENOUGH people to love poetry and write it as beautifully as these people, then we might have more poetry, which does nothing but make the world a better place.
I know that this isn't saying much about the haiku themselves, but I wanted to get all of this just out there. :)

Hooked. by: Robbie
Enjoyed them all. I've recently gotten hooked on writing and reading short poetry forms like American haikus and lunes. Like short short stories, they demand fat-free composition. Great challenge. Very satisfying results here,Tirzah.

Your haiku by: Anonymous
All of these haiku are wonderful.
"Fences Like Smoke" creates the effect of an image blurred by speed as it passes and is gone. "Morning Kiss" and "Evening" are very sensual. I like the luxurious imagery in "Evening": grapes, reclining, lushness. And I especially like the description of stars in "Night Journeys" as pin pricks in the night.
