I like this haiku very much. It really expresses the feeling of a tiger. I like the way it builds up suspense and then ends excitingly with the tiger's attack.
It is wonderful how you break the sentence "waiting for its prey" across two lines. The effect is as if the tiger suddenly came around a corner, surprising its prey!
